We’ll be supporting legendary Dutch band The Ex when they play at Summerhall in Edinburgh on the 19th September, and at Stereo in Glasgow on the 20th September. More information on our gigs page.
Also – not a Painted X-Ray gig but well worth a mention – Mugenkyo, the taiko group which Alison and Georgie originally trained and performed with, are doing a one-day taiko festival in Glasgow on the 7th September. Mugenkyo concerts are always high-energy and spectacular, and this one is going to be epic. There’ll be several hours of serious taiko action with former players from all over the UK joining Mugenkyo on stage, including Alison and Georgie. (Painted X-Ray were invited to do a slot but unfortunately some of us were unavailable.) A good way to get your taiko fix!
